My name is Mrs. Lunsford!

I am one of the special education teachers here at Central Elementary. I have been at CES since 2016, first as a paraprofessional followed by a special education teacher. This is my 5th full year teaching.

This year I have the pleasure of working with your children in 1st grade and 3rd grade. I will serve as their case manager for their IEP as well as a co-teacher/collaborator in their math and reading classes for 3rd grade. At times I will also work individually or in small groups with your child to work on IEP goals.

I work closely with a paraprofessional, Mrs. Burks, who will be in and out of the classroom throughout the day as well. 

Each day I expect students to bring a willing attitude.  With a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, every student is capable of achieving great things.

Students will also need to remember charged chromebooks on a daily basis.
