Welcome to my page.  I began my teaching career in North Carolina, where I taught a year of 4th grade in 1999 - 2000.  I have been teaching at Central since the 2000 - 2001 school year.  I taught fifth grade for ten years, was an Instructional Coach for three years, and taught first grade for four years.  After obtaining my master's degree I began as a reading specialist.  As a coach, and now as a reading specialist,  I have been able to work with teachers and students in grades Kindergarten through fifth grade.
