Hello Everyone!
I can't believe that I am entering my third full year teaching 4th grade. This will by my third year teaching a new set of classes, but I am very excited for what this year will hold.
I am thrilled to see the chidren build off of their AMAZING accomplishments last year, and I know that they will succeed again this year!
Just to give you a little background........I was homeschooled for most of my life, having spent 4th and 5th grades in public school. I graduated from LU in 2009 with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.
I began working in the schools, as a substitute teacher, 6 years ago. I worked in Lynchburg City Schools for one year. I spent 1 1/2 of the last 2 years working at Central, in the Autism classroom. 3 weeks before Christmas Break, I was given my own 3rd grade classroom. Needless to say, I was a bit overwhelmed. But, the students were great in helping to make it ana amazing year!
Having taught third grade, and 4th grade, I am looking forward to helping the kids excel in all of their studies, as well as their belief in themselves and their ability to be successful.
