The Central Elementary Wildcats Archery Team is a part of The NATIONAL ARCHERY IN THE SCHOOLS PROGRAM
It is an in-school program aimed at improving educational performance among students in grades 4 – 12. Students learn focus, self-control, discipline, patience, and the life lessons required to be successful in the classroom and in life.
CES Wins States! - For the first time on school history, the CES archery team won the VA NASP State Tournament. These kids are growing at a phenomenal rate and it will be exciting to see what the rest of the year hold for them!
Warm-up for Nationals Tournament:
One month prior to the 2022 NASP National Tournament, the CES archery team put up the highest team score that our school has ever had!!! These students shot a 2932, which is almost 200 points higher than the State Tournament score! They have worked so hard, in a pandemic-shortened year, and are truly ready to showcase their abilities in Kentucky!!!
